What’s Happening in Dallas: January 12 – 14

There’s a huge music event taking place in Dallas this weekend on Sunday evening, January 14th at the American Airlines Center.

Katy Perry will be in town for her Witness: The Tour with special guest Carly Rae Jepson accompanying her for the show.

The doors open at 6:00 p.m. and the concert is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m.

Songs like “Chained to the Rhythm” and “Bon Appetit” will be featured. Each ticket purchased also includes a pre-order for “Witness: The Album.”

You can still purchase tickets for this event with a starting price of $50.00.

The American Airlines Center is booked solid on Saturday with the Mavericks taking on the L.A. Lakers at 1:00 p.m. and the Dallas Stars playing the Avalanche at 8:00 p.m.

You can catch seats for the Mavericks game for as low as $24.00.  Doors open at 11:30 p.m. and tip-off is at 1:00 p.m.

If you want to stick around and catch the Stars game, doors open for the event at 6:00 p.m. and tickets can be purchase at a price of $20.00 and up.

The Fort Worth Stock and Rodeo Show jumps off on January 12th with events running through February 3rd.

The show includes daily rodeo events, carnival and midway fun, tons of shopping, activities for the kids, and live music at the Coors Light Roadhouse stage.

On January 12 – 13th the show features the Best of the West Ranch Rodeo, which begins at 7:30 p.m.

The Best of Mexico Celebracion will take place on January 14th, with the show beginning at 7:30 p.m. as well.

General ground admission is $10 for adults; $5 for ages 6-16; children 5 and younger are admitted free.

PRCA rodeo tickets are $22-$30. Rodeo tickets include admission to the grounds. Purchase online, by phone by 817-877-2420, or at any entrance.
