Trump Goes After New York Times Reporter

After ‘fake news’ report, President rips into NYT reporter.

Sunday morning is my favorite day of the week simply because you know Trump’s Twitter feed is going to have something in it that will poke liberals into losing their minds.

Today, it was Trump going after Maggie Haberman, a New York Times reporter, calling her a “Hillary flunky” and as someone that is “not given access” to Trump.

His twitter rant came after The New York Times published a piece about Trump being unhappy with this legal team and its handling of the Russia probe.

Haberman’s only response was a quick “Lol” in another tweet…

In addition to the Russia story, The New York Times hit him with a story that the President is 0-2 so far in Congressional races, with Saccone in Pennsylvania being next on the list.

The President responded by saying “The Republicans are 5-0 in recent Congressional races, a point which the Fake News Media continuously fails to mention. I backed and campaigned for all of the winters. They give me credit for one. Hopefully, Rick Saccone will be another big win on Tuesday.”

This goes to prove two points I have been making for months…

First, the mainstream media consistently refuses to recognize anything Trump does that is good.

We are in a week with some substantial news for conservatives and actually the entire country, but the media only concentrates on the negatives.

Second, Trump is simply incapable of letting a single thing go and must win every battle with the press.

He continues to fall into their trap by getting into these petty battles when he really needs to concentrate on moving his platform forward and promoting the good things this administration is accomplishing.

If I were him, I would be hammering the media over the lack of coverage on the Kim meeting as well as how some media members are actually calling the upcoming summit as a bad thing.

While he did touch on these subjects during a rally he held on the 10th, these are not the things he is concentrating on in the “big picture.”

Trump has come a long way in this regard, I will give him credit for that, but we still need to keep him focused on the major things and in letting these petty little stories die out quickly, as they surely would if he did not constantly bring them into the limelight.

Do you think Trump should let these little stories go for the betterment of the big picture or do you want him to fight against every one of them? Please share this article on Facebook and tell us what you think.
